Svenljunga Symphonic Band!

Jakob and Jenny performed with the Svenljunga Symphonic Band a few months ago and the ensemble's website is reporting that a DVD of the gig is available. Of course, being the nutty fan I am, I e-mailed them to find the cost for 5 copies. (I need some copies for trading you know!) Unfortunately, they gave me some bad news when I e-mailed. The copies aren't for sale and are only available to members of the symphonic band. Well!! You'd think they might want to make money but something is keeping them from selling this DVD to the general public... Jenny! Yes, that's right, innocent little Jenny is keeping them from making a hefty profit off each and every Acer the world over.
Ok, ok, she's not personally keeping them from selling it. It's, it's... Well, it's the same Acer Hell we've been living for the past 16 years. Legal issues.
The quite informative representative for Svenljunga Symphonic Band had this to say, in translation -
"Guest artists were present, among them Jenny Berggren from Ase of Base (no, I didn't misspell that.. The guy who wrote me did), and because of a record contract, etc, we cannot sell the DVD to the general public."

haha ... I had about the same convo with this guy ... I can't believe that there are recordings and we will never get anything out of it even if there are actual DVDs ... thats too bad ... I think some of us has to flirt with one of the band members haha .... that would be my suggestion for plan B =)
I like your idea Jessi! Flirting to get a copy is good. haha! We'll get a copy of that DVD somehow! We have certainly done crazy things before to get AOB related merchandise. ;)
exactly ... so let's do the planning to get our hands on that DVD!!!!

Quite ridiculous we cannot get our hands on one of those. I will be in Sweden this summer, let me know if someone needs talking to!
