Nature in Linn's lyrics

Oddly enough, it's taken me 12 years to realize that many of Linn's songs have elements of nature included in the lyrics. Unfortunatley, we don't have too many of her solo songs to tell if this is a trend or just a coincidence but I'm guessing it's just how she writes. She did say that she liked to be in nature, playing in the woods as a child. Maybe she's more into nature than her siblings.

"Whispers in Blindness" -

Swedish summer nights are hot
And the trees can talk
We lay on the grass

Trees are whispering

"Just N Image" -

I'm driving through the night
I'm driving through the rain

The wolves cry out tonight

The sun will rise without a love without a smile

"Strange Ways" -

You're turning all this stone into a heart

As you're fighting the fire when I burn

And nearly all of "sång" contains lyrics pertaining to nature - "woods, bird, blossoming, winter, moss, crystals, stars, night, tree."

Hmm never thought of it before but that's right. Maybe it's some kind of a religion for her. I mean we all know that Jenny is doing her church things to absorb stress and to have fun and to develope, so maybe malin just takes a nice walk through the woods instead. Another reason could be that she likes to paint. People that are painting or like to take photos have another view on beautiful things than others, because they are seing things under another aspect. So that could also be a reason... Maybe just because Malin is a dreamer, and what could be better than dreaming in the nature =P

Well, it is a really good thought what you have written here. I have my own thought about Linn writing about nature. Just you have to listen to Laponia.
Hugs and very good place for reading!
